My dear friend, Honestly I want to inform you about the whale sighting situation in the Mirissa area.

Blue Whale: 25% , Fin Whale: 50% , Spinner Dolphins or Other Dolphins: 80% , Other Animals: 50%

The reason we don't see whales here (low chance), In the last 5 years some speed boat operators illegally go to Whale Diving & Whale snorkeling. Even though we have informed our Coast Guard and Wildlife Department about this, no action has been taken yet. As a result, many whales have left our sea area. In this situation, we can only do a nice boat safari. During the tour if you are lucky you can see Whales. We try our best to find them. *** We stop our boat mid of tour 30 minutes for sea bath ( you have to bring necessary clothes for that) under these conditions If you would like to do the tour you can book with us. kind regard. manoj ( WWC )

Itinerary

we run our whale-watching tours mid of August to end of April. my dear friend's Everyday whales sighting. 50% = blue whale. 80% = Fin Whale. 99% = Dolphins 60% = other animals. 1st . Now it depend on your luck .but, I try to do my very best and hope to give you a memorable and enjoyable tour ❤️. 2nd … there are about 20-25 whale watching boats from (different companies) depart daily for whale watching. They all go same direction. But there are only 1 or 2 whales in our sea area we can see.. if find a whale, many boats chasing for one whale. But, we are follow only their natural behavior and we are not disturb the animals☺️..if we find a whale, we want to see them to our passengers. We are not doing whale chasing and hunting ..But some people misunderstand about our job. some blame us that we are disturbing the whales. I'm one of nature lover and I love my job very much and I want to do it without any stress. Therefore I humble request from you, if you can understand our job, please join with us our tour.. 3rd … We stop our boat mid of tour 30 minutes for sea bath ( you have to bring a swimming kit )

End:This activity ends back at the meeting point.
